Here at Southern Posies, we LOVE working with other creatives on fun and fresh projects. When Lauren Kendrick, owner of the cutest little monogram shop, Sassy Biscuit, gave us a shout to contribute to her beautifully-southern styled shoot, we just couldn’t resist. Lauren was inspired for this shoot by everything she adores about the South, from our beautiful plantations, to the Spanish moss hanging from the trees, to heirloom monograms. Our gal Reese Witherspoon said it best when she said, “My rule is if it’s not moving — monogram it!” Together with some awesome vendors, Lauren’s vision of Contemporary Southern Elegance came to life on a sweet spring afternoon.
Yay you’re engaged! All of those pretty details are coming together and now it’s time to add them to paper. Whether you’ve gone through countless amounts of invitations, colors, and envelope liners, or just starting to look at designs for your suite, the question coming next is: how do I write out my invitation wording. No need to stress, sweet bride. We have you covered!
Today, there are a few ways you can customize your invitation to fit the style of your wedding. Below is a cheat sheet breaking down each line, where it should go and how to say it!
Lindsay and Kyle were married on April 15, 2017 at The Chapel at The Waters on a beautiful spring afternoon. Captured beautifully by the talented Holland Williams Photography, here is a peek into their special day.Read More
Your guys have been by your side through it all and now its time to honor them with some special and unique gifts. Of course a simple tie or money clip would do, but we think these personalized gifts show a little more thought and appreciation for your gents.
If you haven’t noticed, we like to celebrate around here. Whether it is a cookie cake for a job well done (our guilty pleasure around the studio), the tiniest of flower halos for that new precious babe or a gorgeous tented reception in honor of the new Mr. and Mrs., celebrating the small and large events in our lives brings a revived sense of love, appreciation, happiness and encouragement. With the fourth of July approaching what better way to kickoff the love for our country and appreciation for those who paved our way to independence than great company, good food and sparkling desserts (literally…)?! Raising a Cheerwine to you and yours this week and hoping this fun styled shoot has you longing for beach days, candlelight picnics and fried chicken and waffle sandwiches.
