Combining our love for sweet summers in the south, this shoot has us longing for sunshine and bright blooms.

Heirloom rings are the perfect addition for your something old.

We wanted something very simple on the sweet side for this shoot and to show you fun ways to add personality to cake for your next celebration.  Whether it is an engagement party, birthday or even a small intimate wedding, we have some ‘sweet’ tips and tricks to share with you here

Want in on a secret of this shoot?  Everything was dreamed, planned and executed in the span of 5 days.  There is a lot that goes into creating and implementing a successful photoshoot and loads of moving parts (i.e. venue selection and approval, visiting bridal salons, finding the gown, hand selecting the blooms, the hair, the makeup, the jewelry, the model, the seating and table vignette, linens, stationary, cake…you get the picture right?) so I will admit, my positive polly attitude was closer to skeptical sally on this one since I typically like to have around a 3-4 week prep period for any styled editorial.  I am pretty proud of 0ur vendor squad and team on this one!

This table I scored at a local antique shop. The knobby wood legs and worn surface sold me right off the bat.  These 2 chairs are courtesy of our dining room.  Side note: How perfect would these little arrangements with tapered candles on the ground be for lining an intimate ceremony aisle? Flameless tapered candles might be best for this route.

Sliced strawberries make the perfect place card holder.
