Hey y’all! 2019 was one of the busiest years we have ever had (in the best way of course!) We traveled to exciting new places, created hundreds of bouquets, and got to serve some of the sweetest couples and families. We are so excited to update and show you exactly what we have been up to for the last year. Our first wedding of 2019 was in one of our favorite places in Alabama – Pursell Farms. The most lovely hues of lavenders and rich greens from the linens and soft seating to every last flower – this design was incredibly fun to create. We loved designing their beautiful cake backdrop and unique stage front design. Our hearts flutter when a bride comes in wanting to incorporate color in her big day and I can’t imagine a more perfect turn-out for this January wedding.
Twinkle lights, moody blues, whimsical flowers….these are just a few of the words we used for the inspiration behind this gorgeous rehearsal dinner. We wanted to transform the rustic features of the space to southern elegance and full of personal details for the bride and groom. Wild arrangements of blues and greens in concrete containers gave off a more masculine vibe alongside gorgeous, feminine table settings, gauzy silk runners, soft candlelight, the most perfect blue linens and textured napkins, and the cutest personalized cookies. My personal favorite part was the kids table we did complete with mini chiavari chairs and the sweetest toy trunk filled with dolls and pirates reminiscent of the groom’s childhood toys. And how about the paper products we had designed? It was the perfect touch of masculine and feminine in our opinion.
Inside, we softened the space with flowing ivory drapery tied back with some gorgeous blooms, and oh my what a transformation! It’s amazing what a little drapery and some pretty uplighting can do to a space, not to mention the large floral focus and custom chandelier to greet guests right as they walked in for a night to celebrate family, friends and the sweetest love of an adorable couple.

Meet Kayla, the bride who had Crystal and I doubled over in laughter at every single meeting. She and Dustin got married on April 14, 2018 at Pursell Farms in Sylacauga, Alabama. It poured cats and dogs but nothing could rain on Kayla and Dustin’s parade. The joy that these two had on their wedding day was undeniable. Check out all of their photos below to see exactly what we are talking about. And notice that even Plan B can become “Plan Beautiful.”

Hey friends! Welcome back to my engagement series. Wedding day is coming up so soon, I cannot believe it! As far as planning on my end goes, I’m so excited and I’m finally starting to be able to check most things off my to-do list. The most recent thing I’ve done is finished up my registry. I started making my registry almost right away and it took me a long time to finish just because I had no idea what to put on it! There are so many options out there and it can be a little overwhelming, especially without a checklist or guideline to go off of. To make all of you brides-to-be lives a little easier, I created a little registry checklist that I so wish I had before I did my own. You can download it here, and I hope it helps you to see the best things to add to your own list! I also added a few favs of my own below.
A few of my favorite, must-have registry items…
1. Le Creuset Cast-Iron Dutch Oven
This classic Dutch Oven is the perfect addition to any kitchen! It is so practical and you will have it for years and years to come.
2. Pottery Barn Cozy Pom Pom Throw
Not only does this adorable throw come in a bunch of gorgeous neutral colors, it is perfect to curl up in front of the fire with. Plus, it’ll look beautiful draped over any chair or sofa.
3. Pottery Barn “Snuggle” Pillow
Because who doesn’t love a cute throw pillow??
4. Kate Spade Tea Kettle
A tea kettle is a must for any kitchen, especially when it looks this cute!
5. Anthropologie Gold Accent Mug
This mug comes in two gorgeous patterns and when you’re not drinking some yummy coffee out of it, it’ll look so pretty displayed on a shelf.
6. Williams-Sonoma Shatter Resistent Platter
This beautiful natural marble platter is not only shatter resistant, it can also be personalized! It also comes in a really pretty wooden version.
Cheers to love and having a great week friends!!
Nothing’s better than one of those toes in the sand, sippin a cold drink, listening to the ocean kinda days. Because it’s beach season and everyone is packing their totes and heading down to the shore, we decided to round up a few of our go to beach favorites for ya.
1. The Perfect Beach Cover-Up
This loose and flowy striped cover-up is so cute and perfect for hot beach days!
2. Too Faced Waterproof Mascara
This is the BEST waterproof mascara out there! It stays put all day and won’t budge, even after a long day in the water!
3. J. Crew Striped Beach Blanket
This beach blanket is so soft, super cute, and easy to throw in the wash.
4. S’Well Water Bottle
These S’Well water bottles will help keep you hydrated and keep your water ice cold all day.
5. Nordstrom Beach Tote
This straw tote is adorable and will go with just about anything. And it’s the perfect size for all your beach bag needs.
6. Coola SPF Face Mist
This Coola Face Mist will not only keep your face cool, it has SPF 30 to protect you from the sun, AND it can also be used as a makeup setting spray!
Today we are so excited to share Katie and Almon, precious high school sweethearts who tied the knot February 17, 2018. This month marks five months of marriage, cheers to that and to many many more! Katie runs a stationery business called Ink Sugar where she creates the most beautiful custom wedding invitations and hand dyes gorgeous silk ribbon, so all of the stunning paper details you see (including THE cutest coozie featuring their pup Rhett — all the heart eyes,) yep, they were designed by the bride herself! The serene white Chapel at the Waters was the perfect setting for their winter (but felt more like late spring – gotta love Alabama weather right?) wedding.
