Meet Scout

Super excited to introduce to the craziest member of our team. Boasting a title of Human Resources Manager, this professional tail wagger and greeter brings us and our clients a lot of joy (and laughs).

Currently, Scout is in Americus, Georgia with a trainer who is teaching her retrieving for hunting (the hubs is a big bird hunter). Really missing this little brown dog but excited to see her come back with new tricks of the trade in a few months.

When sweet Elisabeth, with Elisabeth and Butter, contacted us about a super fun shoot with Draper James of course our southern (and Reese Witherspoon!) loving hearts did not skip a beat in saying YES. With honor and respect for family and heritage, Draper James ranks high on our list with likeminded ideals of hospitality, grace and charm. To boast those southern principles loud and proud we channeled our inner Shelby (Steel Magnolias, friends) and went with a signature blush and bashful palette.

Let the sparks fly

If you haven’t noticed, we like to celebrate around here. Whether it is a cookie cake for a job well done (our guilty pleasure around the studio), the tiniest of flower halos for that new precious babe or a gorgeous tented reception in honor of the new Mr. and Mrs., celebrating the small and large events in our lives brings a revived sense of love, appreciation, happiness and encouragement. With the fourth of July approaching what better way to kickoff the love for our country and appreciation for those who paved our way to independence than great company, good food and sparkling desserts (literally…)?! Raising a Cheerwine to you and yours this week and hoping this fun styled shoot has you longing for beach days, candlelight picnics and fried chicken and waffle sandwiches.

Anna and Pierce were married February 4, 2017 at The Oaks Plantation in Pike Road, Alabama. We absolutely loved being a part of their special day. Their joy is contagious and their love for each other is ever so obvious. We are so excited to share their story!
